We design and innovate centrifugal, axial, reciprocating compressors, and turboexpanders for our global customers. We adopt cutting-edge technology and continuous innovation to address challenges such as hydrogen production, liquefaction, transport, carbon dioxide capture and storage, and energy production from super-critical CO2. Partner with the best As a Lead Compressor Design Engineer, you will be responsible for design and technical documentation activities for our compressor and turboexpander products. We utilize a Model Based Engineering approach where technical calculations are integrated with 3D geometry model creation. Collaborating with multiple engineers and suppliers, you will ensure quality control and on-time delivery. You will have opportunities to convert new technological ideas into products and introduce innovations to our pioneering business. Responsibilities include: Leading design activities and reviews, providing technical guidance, and sharing project status updates; Collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and identify product improvements; Providing engineering support throughout the full technical project lifecycle; Owning the delivery of technical documentation and drawings, ensuring compliance with policies and specifications; Managing relationships with global and local vendors to ensure timely delivery of components. Work Experience To succeed in this role, you should: Have a solid engineering background with experience in Mechanical, Thermodynamics, or Fluid Dynamics; Experience working within an engineering organization; Proficiency in CAD software such as Unigraphics or similar; Experience leading, mentoring, and motivating technical teams; Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD); Be an analytical problem solver with root cause analysis skills; Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities; Excellent communication skills in English; Willingness to travel internationally to work with customers on-site; Ability to work within the EU.
