What you will do The R&D Deployment Manager FemCare will execute the innovation pipeline for FemCare with excellence in execution. They will support portfolio project execution, working directly with the Global segment, commercial teams, supply chain, and other R&D functions. This includes deploying upstream innovation and supporting business continuity, compliance, claims, demos, and cost improvement programs. Key Responsibilities Support R&D in technical problem resolution and project success criteria, demonstrating superior technical formulation knowledge and processes. Deploy the innovation pipeline, collaborating with supply chain, commercial, packaging, and manufacturing departments. Translate consumer data and market insights into technical briefs, supporting brand strategy and business goals. Leverage science & technology trends and networks to deploy innovations quickly. Ensure design for manufacturability in all technical briefs. Ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations/laws. Contribute to technical project deployment and establish success criteria, monitoring progress to meet 3YOP targets. Manage local budget allocations for services and resources. Provide project and program updates to senior management. Manage a team of scientists and engineers, fostering agility and speed to market; participate in talent discussions. Link technical knowledge to business strategy and leverage external technology. Understand the R&D business model, strategy, revenue models, P/L, and make informed decisions. Execute R&D budget targets through forecasts and actuals. Technical Skills Expertise in engineered products technology and/or materials science. Understanding of technical lab-based and consumer experience product testing methods. Knowledge of processing, scale-up, and design for manufacturing. Thorough understanding of R&D capabilities for consumer product development. Ability to leverage insights to shape decisions. Strategic Partnership Management Manage collaborations with external deployment partners. Communicate effectively with partners/suppliers, set expectations, and evaluate solutions. Seek opportunities to enhance consumer satisfaction and strengthen partner relationships. Leadership People leadership, performance management, and development, including leading technical teams. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering. 7 years experience in cosmetics, commodities, or hygiene products. Strong technical background in engineered products (e.g., menstrual hygiene, diapers, incontinence products). Experience in developing and substantiating claims. Proven ability to translate science into consumer and professional language. Process development and scale-up experience. Experience working with external manufacturing and technical project management. Fluent in written and spoken English.
