Plant Quality Manager

Responsibilities The figure, reporting to the Plant Director, will play a strategic role in managing and improving product and process quality, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations. They will coordinate the quality engineer, dedicated to customer quality, and the laboratory manager, responsible for product quality analysis. Specifically, they will : Manage and monitor the Plant's Quality System, implementing improvement actions to ensure compliance with internal regulations and customer requirements. Coordinate internal and external audits, liaising with certification bodies and clients to maintain ISO 9001 certification. Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, and Commercial departments to optimize product quality levels and ensure customer satisfaction. Analyze and manage customer complaints, identify causes, and implement corrective actions to reduce non-conformities. Monitor and improve quality KPIs, preparing periodic reports on the plant's quality performance. Participate in defining product technical specifications, ensuring market demands and customer needs are met. Occasionally travel to major clients across Italy. Your Profile For the selection process, only candidates meeting the following requirements will be considered : Degree in Engineering Solid experience in quality management roles within metalworking companies Advanced knowledge of ISO 9001 standards Knowledge of IATF standards will be considered a plus Excellent command of the English language Ideally, the profile should also include data analysis skills, continuous improvement process management, leadership, team coordination abilities, strong problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
