We're currently looking for a Live-out Support Worker to join our team and support a gentleman living in Corby . Meet the Client Our client is a friendly and active man who has experienced an acquired brain injury. He enjoys staying physically active and would love the support of someone who shares his enthusiasm for exercise and healthy living. You'll be helping him with activities such as physiotherapy exercises, trips to the gym, and swimming so this role is perfect for someone who enjoys being on the go and encouraging others to reach their goals. What You'll Be Doing In this role, you'll be providing thoughtful, one-to-one support during day shifts . You'll help our client with: Daily routines and personal care Medication management Meal preparation Exercise and mobility support Weekly skin checks Fall prevention and reassurance Planning and supporting daily activities Full training will be provided, so you'll feel confident and well-prepared to support his needs. What We're Looking For Because our client leads an active lifestyle and enjoys getting out and about, we're looking for someone who has: A full UK driving licence Their own vehicle Business insurance in place This ensures you'll be able to support him with community outings and appointments. When you'll be working: We are looking for a regular team to work permanently with our client 9am -3pm 6 hour day shifts Monday - Friday available (excluding bank holidays Full time or part time available What you'll have: Kind and caring nature Flexibility & reliability continuity of care is imperative for our clients Good communication skills Valid drivers licence, own vehicle and business insurance What to look forward to: £12.25 up to £13.50 per hour (depending on UK experience and qualifications) Accrued holiday pay A Nest Personal Pension account Full specialist training We recognise outstanding Active Behaviours via the Active Awards programme Refer a Friend Scheme and earn yourself up to £1500 by recommending someone you know and, of course, the support and guidance of our qualified clinical and business leadership teams so that you can really develop your career with Active Care Group *Please note we are recruiting male Support Workers due to a genuine occupational requirement of the person we support therefore this role is exempt from the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9 We also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.
