Clinical Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and committed Clinical Lead Nurse to oversee and support the delivery of high-quality clinical care within our care home. As the Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in managing the nursing team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining a person-centred approach to care. Key Responsibilities: Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing and care teams. Oversee the development, implementation, and review of individualised care plans. Ensure safe medication management in line with NMC and company guidelines. Monitor clinical standards, infection control, and safeguarding practices. Support the Home Manager in audits, compliance, and CQC inspections. Lead by example, promoting dignity, choice, and independence for residents. Liaise with external healthcare professionals and family members to coordinate care. Supervise and mentor junior staff, including nurses and care assistants. Participate in staff training, clinical supervision, and appraisals. Essential Requirements: Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with an active NMC PIN . Proven experience in a senior nurse or team leader role within a care home setting. Strong clinical skills and understanding of elderly and dementia care. Knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding practices. Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. A passion for delivering exceptional, person-centred care.
