Senior Associate - Corporate Commercial Solicitor Boutique Law Firm – London Our client, a well-regarded boutique law firm based in London, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Corporate Commercial Solicitor to lead and develop their Corporate Commercial department. This is a unique opportunity for a confident and self-sufficient Solicitor to take ownership of an established caseload, while also shaping the department’s strategic growth and direction. Key Responsibilities: Manage a wide range of corporate transactions from inception through to completion Advise clients on complex corporate matters, including M&A, private equity, venture capital, and joint ventures Conduct and oversee due diligence processes for corporate transactions Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts Ensure clients meet all relevant regulatory and compliance requirements Drive business development efforts to expand the department's client base, building on a strong foundation of existing work Candidate Profile: Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 8 years' PQE in corporate commercial law Strong technical expertise across the corporate/commercial space Demonstrated ability to manage matters independently and provide strategic legal advice A portable following is advantageous but not essential, provided you bring a strong commercial mindset and enthusiasm for business development This role presents an excellent opportunity to lead a department with real autonomy, backed by the support of a reputable firm.
