Senior Accountant

A Well Established company based in Centurion, requires a Senior Accountant: DUTIES: Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement General Ledger Oversight: Maintain and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy across all entries Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with leadership to develop budgets and financial projections Audit Coordination: Support internal and external audits, ensuring documentation and compliance readiness Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns and stay updated on regulatory changes Process Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to accounting systems and workflows Team Leadership: Supervise junior accountants, review work, and provide mentorship REQUIREMENTS: Accounting practice experience minimum 7 years SAIPA articles completed with University degree Member of SAIPA/SAICA Registered SARS Tax Practitioner Pastel Partner/Pastel Payroll - minimum 5 years SARS e-filing - minimum 5 years Draftworx - minimum 7 years SAGE Intacct/SAGE Evolution/SAGE Audit experience IFRS for SME and IFRS
