Reservations Consultant - Century City

Job Specification Join a dynamic team of high-performing, revenue-focused experts, where your industry knowledge and sales ability will be truly valued Dealing with enquiries, quotes and booking holidays to a variety of destinations worldwide Particular focus on the Middle East, South-East Asia and the Indian Ocean Turning enquiries/quotes into bookings Offer suitable packages and ancillaries within the requirements Maintain a high level of customer service at all times Achieve monthly sales targets Use personal travel experience and product knowledge to sell appropriate holidays Follow up on all enquiries made Cross-selling to alternative holidays Undertake any other duties or projects commensurate within the nature of the role Minimum Requirements Matric or equivelant Travel Industry Diploma Experience using a GDS, preferably Galileo Excellent geographical knowledge and experience in the travel industry Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally Professional mannerism Customer-focused Experienced in selling travel products or services Basic knowledge of standard PC systems (full training will be given on in-house systems) Basic knowledge of ABTA/ATOL regulations Target-oriented Ability to work under pressure and independently Organisational skills and ability to multi-task Proactive & enthusiastic Supportive Team player Prepared to work shifts Basic salary plus commission and transport provided (within 35km) Hours: Mon-Fri 15h00pm - 00h00am or 16h00pm - 01h00am Saturday (rotational ) Subject to change Kindly note that by submitting your application for this career opportunity, you agree that Guardian Recruiting may use your application for the purpose of the recruitment and selection of the said position, and this information may be shared with the relevant stakeholders in the business.
