Travel MRI Tech - $1,931 per week in Richmond, VA

Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required License: State licensed preferred Certifications: ARRT, BLS Must-Have: - Siemens experience required - Level I Trauma experience required - PACS and contrast experience required Description: Part-time position, requiring 2 shifts per week, on Saturday and Sunday. Candidates must have Siemens experience. Level I Trauma, BLS, and ARRT certifications are required. Experience with PACS and contrast administration is also necessary. Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 60 patients. Unit consists of four MRI scanners operating 7 days a week. Cases will range from routine neuro imaging and body imaging, to cardiac imaging and MRI assistance with anesthesia. Conditions treated vary widely, from routine evaluations to cancer diagnoses and follow-up treatments. Candidates will need to conduct various imaging procedures, including but not limited to brain, spine, abdomen, and pelvis imaging. There is a requirement for the preparation and administration of contrast media. The facility operates outpatient and inpatient services. Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred. Candidates may float within scope as needed. All candidates must comply with the facility's policies.
