About The Position We are seeking a qualified Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 36-week locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, beginning Sep 1, 2025. This role involves varied shifts, providing critical support in emergency medical procedures alongside attending physicians. Job Details Location : Pennsylvania Start Date : Sep 1, 2025 LOA : 36 weeks Provider Type Needed : Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner Schedule : 6a-4p 9a-7p 11a-9p 2p-12a 6p-4a 8p-6a Responsibilities and Duties Evaluate and treat patients in the ER setting. Assist with medical procedures including lacerations, incisions and drainage, reductions, intubations, chest tubes, and central lines under the supervision of attending physicians. Run codes and manage emergency situations alongside attending physicians. Ensure comprehensive patient care through effective communication and documentation using the Epic EMR system. Additional Information Board certification in Emergency Medicine required. Must have a valid Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner license. DEA and CSR licenses are needed. Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) are mandatory. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
