Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/25/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Role: RN – Telemetry/PCU (Acute Care) Shift: 12-hour nights, 3×12 per week (36 hours guaranteed, up to 3 cancellations allowed per 13 weeks) Schedule: Every other weekend (Nights: Fri & Sat; Days: Sat & Sun) Contract Length: 13 weeks Requirements Experience: 1 year required (2 years preferred) Telemetry Med-Surg acute care experience Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS License: Active RN license BSN: Not required Unit Details Beds: 18 (Telemetry w/ 6 PCU-capable beds, all private rooms) Ratios: Tele 1:4, PCU/Stepdown 1:3 Support: Tele techs, charge nurse 24/7, CNAs, HUCs, PCTs Equipment: Philips monitors, Cardizem, amiodarone, bumex, Lasix, integrillin, octreotide, protonix Respiratory: No vents; high-flow O₂ for COVID step-down; home CPAP use Other: No IV team; RT and Pharmacy on site 24/7; Hospitalist in house 24/7 Common Diagnoses: AMI, stroke/TIA, pneumonia, renal/dialysis, afib RVR, SIRS, diabetes Floating: To all Med-Surg units Additional Info COVID patients possible (separate air handling/temporary walls) Charting: Allscripts – Sunrise Orientation: 2–3 days with preceptor Trauma Level: Not specified About Nationwide Therapy Group NTG is a proud partner with healthcare professionals across the country.
