M&E Quantity Surveyor

About the role: The is role is for one of the leading M&E subcontractors in London that specialise in a range of sectors such as commercial, residential and data centres. Our client prides themselves on commitment to quality, safety, and employee satisfaction. As they expand their operations, they are looking for a skilled M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. Key responsibilities: Prepare and manage MEP project cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts. Analyse construction drawings, specifications, and other documents to determine project costs. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and gather information for accurate cost assessments. Manage subcontractor evaluations and negotiations regarding pricing and contracts. Track and report changes to project scope and ensure timely adjustments to budgets. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to maintain project timelines and quality standards. Assist in preparing tender documents and proposals. Conduct value engineering assessments to optimize project costs. Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions and approvals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction practices. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Why Join?
