Project Engineer

Qualifications: B Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering and Management development program. Project management certificate or Diploma. Valid Drivers License. Experience: Minimum of 5 (five) years related experience in a metallurgical/mining production environment, mineral processing and bulk materials handling as Project Engineer. Experience in engineering, design, installation and commissioning of plant structures, concrete structures, and plant process modifications. Excellent Project Management skills and application of Project Management Methodologies (PMI, etc.) Responsibilities: Evaluate, plan and co-ordinate the implementation of new projects according to sound project management principles, company standards and procedures: Analyse client needs for the implementation of new or improved technology to evaluate project viability according to the companys procedures and standards. Develop project plans according to sound project management principles, client needs, suppliers and resource availabilities to ensure efficient project management. Manage Projects as allocated as per Foskor Project management Frameworks: Initiate and investigate task; Plan Project activities (Financial, Scope, Project Schedule, Resource Requirements and motivations. Procurement planning and execution, Stakeholder management, Project Communication, Project administration. Project Safety, Project quality; Monitor and control Project management activities; Close Projects; Safety Management of Project.
