Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage Cold Store, Logistics, and Dispatch operations during allocated shift. Ensure adherence to operational plans, schedules, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Monitor and maintain product quality, accuracy, and safety standards. Effectively lead, supervise, and motivate shift staff to achieve performance targets. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and on-time dispatch. Report operational issues, challenges, and improvements to management. Minimum Requirements: Matric / Grade 12 (relevant logistics or supply chain qualification advantageous). 35 years experience in a cold store, logistics, or dispatch supervisory/management role. Strong leadership and people management skills. Good understanding of cold chain management, health & safety, and quality control processes. Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required. Proficient in MS Office and warehouse management systems. Skills & Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
