Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems and equipment. Implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules. Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to ensure compliance. Design and improve mechanical components to enhance efficiency and safety. Manage equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning. Keep accurate maintenance logs and technical documentation. Provide technical guidance and training to staff. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification. 35 years mechanical maintenance experience in a food processing or industrial environment (abattoir experience preferred). Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, and gearboxes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
