Field Service Engineer – Scientific Equipment

Company: Distributor of scientific equipment for laboratory and industry operating in Spanish territory. Job Description: Reporting to the Service Manager the main functions are: -Servicing and repairing scientific instruments/equipment at customer site. -Troubleshoot and resolve difficult service situations remotely and onsite across the territory (mainly north-center of Spain). -Install new equipment at customer’s site. -Help with after-sales technical support and commercial activities. -Preparation of all documentation relating to each service -To develop a strong knowledge of the company’s main products in regard to their operation, application, spare parts and repair. Candidate profile: -Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Electronic Engineering or similar. -IT skills and good command of common working software (office, excell). -Previous experience with analytical instrumentation. -Previous experience as a service engineer will be valued. -Fluent in English, both written and oral. -Organized and able to do teamwork. -Client focused, effective and technical decision maker. -Autonomy and work with traceability. -Flexible and able to learn new skills. -Able to travel (including out of Spain for trainings). -Based in North of Spain (preferred). -Driving licence.
