Medical Oncology Opportunity in Sandusky, OH Join a physician-owned group dedicated to providing accessible, quality oncology care to patients across a six-county region. This growth-minded practice is expanding to meet demand and help local hospitals remain independent. If you're a Medical Oncologist seeking stability, subspecialty volume, and an experienced team, this opportunity deserves your consideration. Practice Overview You'll join a collaborative oncology team with 3 medical oncologists, 1 radiation oncologist, and 2 advanced practice providers Practice model spans two hospitals with on-site support from oncology-certified RNs, radiologists, and surgical specialists Mix of hematology and solid tumor oncology; access to UH Cleveland tumor boards and surgical referrals for complex cases 1:4 call rotation with low in-person burden and paid consult coverage Schedule 4-day clinical week with 2 days at each of two sites Average of 14-15 patient visits per day at main site, 12 per day at satellite No weekday call; weekend call limited to 2-4 consults/day with rare in-person needs Infusion centers onsite with 16 and 6 chairs, respectively Compensation & Benefits Generous base salary with additional wRVU production and consult call incentives Sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, retention bonus, and loan forgiveness all available Full benefits package including CME, malpractice with tail, retirement plan, and generous PTO Candidate Requirements BC/BE in Medical Oncology; must be board-eligible or board-certified Open to 2025 grads, experienced physicians, and IMGs with appropriate visa status Strong preference for candidates seeking long-term commitment (5 years) Team-oriented mindset and collegial practice style Community & Location Highlights Live on or near Lake Erie with access to beaches, boating, and waterfront recreation Family-friendly towns with top-rated public and private schools Affordable housing with suburban and rural options Within driving distance of Cleveland for specialty referrals and international airport access Let's explore together how this opportunity could shape the next chapter of your career and life!
