Job Description
Head Chef 18 per hour Blue Arrow is currently looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen team for a client in Kilmarnock. This is a commercial/production kitchen. Starts 11th August Ongoing contract (min 8weeks) Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm Main Duties/Responsibilities: Menu Planning Cook and prepare high quality dishes. Stock ordering Staff Rotas Always maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment. Ensure food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created. Essential: * Health and safety and food hygiene certificates * Minimum 1 years' relevant experience * Awareness of manual handling techniques * Competent level of English spoken and written Desirable: * Food Hygiene Level 2 or above * City & Guilds 706/1 or 706/2 Catering/ NVQ Level 2 in cookery Benefits: * Company Pension * Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm * Immediate start (Monday 11th August) * Paid Holidays * Blue Arrow App - put yourself forward for available work & accept/decline shifts to work around your commitments.
