PSV Field Technician

RoleOverview AsaFieldServiceEngineer,youwillplayakeyroleinprovidingonsiteandremotesupportforarrangeofelectricandhybridvehicles.Youwillberesponsibleforservice,diagnostics,repairs,andmaintenanceatcustomerpremisesanddepots,ensuringworkiscompletedtothehigheststandardandinalignmentwithcompanypolicies,safetystandards,andcustomerexpectations. Thisroleinvolvesregionaltravelandoccasionalovernightstays,withregulartrainingprovided. KeyResponsibilities ConductallaspectsofPSVmaintenance,inspections,faultdiagnostics,andrepairson-siteatcustomerlocationsorattheservicecentre. Deliverhigh-quality,efficient,andcost-effectiverepairsusingup-to-datetechnicaldocumentationanddiagnostictools. Workcollaborativelywithcustomers,theorganisationscallcentre,andpartsdepartmenttoensuretimelydefectreporting,partsordering,andissueresolution. Accuratelycompleteandsubmitjobcards,servicereports,andriskassessments;ensurecustomersign-offpriortoleavingsite. Digitallyscanandsubmitcompletedjobdocumentationtotheservicecentrebytheendofeachworkingdayorassoonaspossible. Proactivelyparticipateinproductandtechnicaltrainingsessionstostaycurrentwithproductdevelopmentsandservicetechniques. Supportcustomerswithrepairsandservicingactivitiestobuildstrongrelationshipsandenhancetheirunderstandingoftheproduct. EnsureasafeworkingenvironmentatalltimesbyfollowingHealth&Safetyproceduresandcarryingoutpoint-of-workriskassessments. Maintainprofessionalconductandrepresentthecompanysvaluesineverycustomerinteraction. Requirements FullUKdrivinglicence City&GuildsLevel3inVehicleMaintenanceorequivalentqualification(essential). Provenexperienceinservicingandmaintaining(PSVs),HGVsorCommercialvehicles Strongdiagnosticandfault-findingskills,ideallywithexperienceinelectricorhybridvehicletechnology. Abilitytoworkindependentlyandmanageworkloadsacrossmultiplecustomersites. Excellentcommunicationskillsandacustomer-centricapproach. Willingnesstotravelregularly,includingoccasionalovernightstayswithreasonablenotice. Commitmenttocontinuouslearningandupholdingthehigheststandardsoftechnicalservice.
