Job Description
Key Performance Areas: Oversee operations of Roll Shop Machines Identify and report irregularities to the Production and Maintenance Up-dating of roll change register, roll history cards and Prepare Grinding loss reports Ensure quality control of rolls issued to production Repairing of damaged rolls Prepare and submit monthly Roll Shop technical reports Ensure calibration and maintenance are done on all roll shop equipment Adhere to safe work practice and good housekeeping Education, Qualifications & Experience: Matric Certificate N3 / NQF4 Technical Qualification with production experience Minimum of 3 years experience in a first-level management role within a production environment Computer literate, proficient in Word, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint SAP Super User experience in Production Planning and Execution Ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and customers when required
