Software Engineer (Spark/Scala) - Remote

We are looking for a Software Engineer with coding skills in Java and/or Spark-Scala and a DevOps mindset to join our Team. ⚙ Key Responsibilities: Work across different tasks and adjust to changing priorities as needed. Build, test, and support applications using Java and/or Spark-Scala. Help deliver and maintain finance data solutions, especially those running on AWS Cloud. Support daily operations (BAU) and help solve technical issues. Report to a Software Engineering Manager and interact with the development team, product owner, and business stakeholders. Share knowledge, write clear documentation, and help promote teamwork and a positive team spirit. Take part in code reviews and technical discussions. Analyse current technical implementations and look for ways to improve systems and processes. Provide technical support and training to technical leads on technology systems and data management tools. Support and help guide less experienced team members towards team and departmental goals. Mandatory requirements: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. 3 years. Experience with Java 8 and higher and/or Spark Scala. Good understanding of DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Experience with AWS Cloud services, especially for data migrations. Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
