Data Engineer (SAP Integration)

We are looking for a Data Engineer (SAP Integration) to join a long-term, stable position within a leading multinational group in the aviation sector. You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing robust data pipelines and models to support advanced analytics and financial reporting initiatives across the group. This role is key to ensuring high data quality, reliability, and scalability in a dynamic, cross-functional environment — with a strong focus on SAP financial data and cloud-based platforms. Key Responsabilities: Design and maintain reliable ETL/ELT pipelines to extract SAP financial data into cloud platforms (mainly AWS : S3, Glue, Redshift). Build clean, reusable data models using dbt and automate workflows with Airflow . Collaborate with stakeholders to understand financial reporting needs and translate them into scalable data solutions. Ensure data quality, governance, and integrity across all workflows. Requirements: 2 years of experience in Data Engineering. Strong SQL skills and understanding of SAP financial tables (e.g., BKPF, BSEG, COBK). Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (ideally AWS) and orchestration tools like Airflow. Familiarity with dbt or similar transformation tools. Nice to have: Experience integrating SAP into modern data stacks. Knowledge of SAP BW , SAP Data Intelligence , or basic ABAP for ETL logic.
