Platform Engineering Director – Cloud Infrastructure

Platform Engineering Director – Cloud Infrastructure European Tech Recruit are working closely with an exciting Quantum AI company, based in San Sebastián, who are looking for a talented Platform Engineering Director with Cloud Infrastructure experience to join their team. Responsibilities as Platform Engineering Director – Cloud Infrastructure : Build a robust team. Communicate with leadership. Report directly to the CTO. Build a scalable DevOps and MLOps infrastructure. Accompany the transition to offering a SaaS product. Enable a business model which is fully driven AWS and Azure. Manage huge computational loads for a 100 Engineer company. Requirements: PHD / Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 5 years of hands-on experience in software engineering and/or DevOps. 2 years leading DevOps and/or platform teams in a technology-driven company. Must have MLOps experience. Solid understanding and knowledge of DevOps practices and agile methodologies. Experience deploying SaaS solutions. Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes. Extensive experience of AWS and Azure. Proven experience using automation to support deployment, scaling, monitoring, and management (i.e. Terraform, etc).
