Wind Project Engineer

Location: Madrid or Lisbon We are supporting a leading energy company in the search for a Wind Project Engineer to join their Engineering team, focusing on the development and execution of onshore wind projects across Europe. Responsibilities: Provide technical support during the development and pre-construction phases of onshore wind projects. Review site layouts, terrain, access, and grid connection options to ensure project feasibility and cost-efficiency. Participate in the preparation, negotiation, and evaluation of BOP and TSA contracts. Work closely with internal teams (development, procurement, construction) and external engineering partners. Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies. Support the transition of projects into construction, ensuring technical compliance and alignment with project timelines. Requirements: Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proven experience in onshore wind , ideally across development and construction phases. Solid understanding of wind farm infrastructure and construction challenges. Experience working with or reviewing BOP and TSA contract terms. Strong communication and coordination skills in multidisciplinary environments. Fluency in English is required; Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
