Section Engineer

Looking for a Section Engineer to work closely with Sub Agent / Agents and be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the works within your section. You will ensure that all activities are carried out in line with design specifications, contractual requirements, and the highest safety standards. Key Responsibilities Manage, supervise, train and mentor site team members to ensure duties are carried out effectively. Communicate clearly with engineers, supervisors, enabling functions, designers, and other stakeholders. Produce a three-month lookahead programme for your section. Monitor progress and compare it with planned targets. Plan and sequence works, considering constraints and interfaces, and share with relevant stakeholders. Support the Sub Agent/Agent and commercial team in reviewing subcontractor payment applications. About You Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or HND in Civil Engineering with relevant vocational training. Working towards, or in possession of, a recognised Professional Industry Qualification. Formal training in Health & Safety and Environmental Management. Relevant CSCS Card. Full UK driving licence (essential for highway projects). Legal right to work in the UK.
