We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Fitter to begin their story as part of our technical team based in our Salsburgh Depot. We are looking for someone who embodies our values of being hardworking, grounded and proud of the work they do. As Lead Fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring all Depot maintenance activities are carried out to support the Workshop Manager in leading a safe, reliable and efficient maintenance of plant. You will be responsible for the allocation of maintenance tasks to the Maintenance team, ensuring they are delivering quality maintenance, repair, servicing and testing of all plant to our customers. To be successful in this role you will need: Certificates in Load All, Thermic Lancing, Gas Cutting, Fork Lifting and PTS An RPA Maintenance competence certificate An NVQ level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent Experience in plant and machinery A full and valid driving licence Computer literacy in MS Office and Plant software packages Effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
