About the company My client, a growing, purpose-led organisation in the not for profit sector have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, driven HR Advisor to join its evolving People function. With a strong social mission and ambitious transformation plans underway, this role offers a rare opportunity to gain wide-ranging HR exposure in a fast-moving, values-driven environment, amongst an experienced and supportive HR team. The Role Reporting to an experienced HR Business partner, You’ll play a vital role in supporting strategic people initiatives, from system automation to workforce planning whilst offering daily HR support on employee relations and provide HR operations support to the business whilst it continues to go through an exciting period of growth. Key Responsibilities include: Support Change Initiatives: Contribute to organisational redesign, cultural change, and transformation projects. Streamline HR Systems: Assist in implementing new HR systems and automating core processes. Review T&Cs: Help develop and roll out updated terms and conditions aligned to best practice. ER Casework: Manage employee relations matters (e.g. investigations, grievances, disciplinaries) with the support of an experienced HR team. Coach Line Managers: Provide hands-on support to build capability in people management. L&D: Support the delivery of learning initiatives that grow internal talent. Workforce Planning: Use HR data to inform recruitment, retention, and succession strategies. Policy Development: Keep HR policies current and compliant with changing legislation. The ideal candidate The ideal candidate will be a confident and adaptable HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and is excited to play a hands-on role in shaping a growing, purpose-led organisation. Experience required: Solid HR generalist experience, ideally in a complex or regulated environment Working knowledge of UK employment law and best practice Confident managing ER issues and supporting line managers Experience with change projects or HR systems implementation would be advantageous Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills CIPD Level 5 (or working towards it) desirable Summary This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a growing, mission-led organisation making a real social impact.
