Job Description

Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Manage day-to-day lodge operations, ensuring smooth coordination across all departments. Deliver exceptional guest service while upholding luxury standards. Maintenance Management Oversee all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring the lodge infrastructure and equipment are in optimal condition. Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules. Manage maintenance staff and coordinate with external contractors. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Team Leadership Lead, train, and motivate lodge staff to deliver excellence. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Financial & Resource Management Develop and manage budgets, monitor costs, and optimise resource utilisation. Manage procurement related to maintenance and operations. Quality & Safety Compliance Maintain rigorous quality standards for both guest services and facility upkeep. Ensure health, safety, and environmental protocols are adhered to. Minimum Experience & Requirements Matric; relevant technical or hospitality qualification preferred. Minimum 5 years General Management experience in luxury lodge or hospitality, with strong maintenance oversight. Hands-on knowledge of building systems, grounds, and equipment maintenance. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities. Valid RSA ID, Drivers Licence, and own transport.
