About the Role: As Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all aspects of lodge upkeep, from preventative maintenance and repairs to managing a small, dynamic team. Youll work closely with management to uphold our high standards, ensuring every area of the lodge operates efficiently and looks its best. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily maintenance operations across the lodge, guest rooms, public areas, and grounds. Conduct regular inspections and implement preventative maintenance schedules. Manage and train the maintenance team to deliver top-quality workmanship. Respond promptly to urgent repairs and guest-related maintenance requests. Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Liaise with contractors and service providers as needed. Requirements: Proven experience in maintenance management, ideally in the hospitality or lodge industry. Strong technical knowledge across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Highly organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure. Physically fit and capable of hands-on work when needed. Valid drivers license.
