Job Description

Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Credit Control Administrator for our client based in South Lanarkshire. Role Overview: This position offers a great opportunity to join a busy finance team in a vital role supporting the company’s credit control and financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: Managing and maintaining the sales ledger. Chasing outstanding debt via telephone and email. Allocating customer payments and reconciling accounts. Liaising with customers and internal departments to resolve payment queries. Producing monthly statements and debtor reports. Assisting with month-end processes and general administration support within the finance department. Skills & Experience: Previous experience in a credit control or finance administration role. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Experience with accounting software is advantageous. Offering: Competitive salary dependent on experience. Working hours: Monday to Friday, full-time (8am-4pm / 8.30am - 4.30pm / 9am - 5pm) Hybrid working 3 days office / 2 days home Holidays 31 days including bank holidays Company benefits include pension scheme, life assurance, half-day holiday for your birthday and much more.
