Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are renowned for high quality workmanship and excellent service. About the Role Due to fantastic new projects, we're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team. You will be responsible for providing day to day commercial & contractual management of projects, including subcontractor procurement, valuations, payments and negotiation to ensure optimal efficiency and profitability in the business. Responsibilities Take the lead and be the focal point for all commercial matters on allocated projects. Preparation, submission and agreement of detailed monthly valuations, including costed variations and subcontractor payments. Subcontractor appointments within budget allowances. Close liaison with site and design teams to measure completed works, identify variations and discuss commercial matters. Maintaining excellent records of site activity, variations and projected final account throughout the project. Reporting on cashflow forecasts and project profitability. Contract administration in respect of record keeping and formal notices. Qualifications BSc / HND or equivalent in Quantity Surveying. 10 years in a construction industry role, ideally within main contractor sector. Required Skills Strong digital skills including Microsoft 365 and cost management packages. Excellent analytical, commercial and negotiating skills. Proactive approach, excellent written and interpersonal skills. Clean driving licence & proof of eligibility to work in the UK are required. Compensation & Benefits This is a full-time position based at our Perth office with regular travel to our construction sites.
