Proposals Specialist

FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Proposals Specialist based in Westhill, Aberdeenshire on a Permanent, Full Time basis, with Hybrid working available. Working with a rapidly growing subsea operations company, this is a newly created position with the view of managing the full proposals process from ITT/RFQ to award and handover to the projects team. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with demonstrable experience in Proposals/Tendering roles who are looking for a new challenge with a progressive and forward thinking company, with opportunities for progression and development as the business grows. Main duties include: • Produce accurate and engaging Proposal submissions to win new business opportunities, tailored to client needs • Manage responses to ITT/RFQs, from initial enquiry to submission and eventual contract award • Liaising with internal departments, ensuring accuracy of information and adhering to deadlines • Develop frameworks for cost estimation and obtain internal approvals • Communication with vendors and sub-contractors, ensuring up to date pricing included • Presenting details of submissions to senior management, highlighting all associated opportunities and risks • Updating CRM system to maintain accurate sales records and forecasts • Coordinate handovers to operational project teams following contract award Suitable candidates should have the following: • Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant proposal / commercial focused role • Demonstrable Oil & Gas / Subsea industry experience & knowledge is beneficial • Highly organised, with a keen attention to detail and strong communication skills • Ability to adapt to changing requirements • Self-motivated, with a creative and pro-active approach to problem solving • Degree in Engineering, Legal or Business subjects is beneficial Candidates should be based locally to Aberdeen, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
