BRANCH OPERATOR - PIETERMARITZBURG

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a BRANCH OPERATOR for a well-established, growing concern, position based in Pietermaritzburg, Kwazulu-Natal. REQUIREMENTS Grade 12. Certification in Transport Management or Business Management. Valid drivers license / own reliable vehicle. Person must be able to speak, read and write in English. Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). 3 yrs experience in Transport Management or Vehicle Rental. Complete vehicle check sheets in and out. Inspect vehicles pre- and post-delivery. Transport drivers to and from clients. Assess and document vehicle damages with client sign-off. Monitor fuel levels and ensure refueling upon vehicle return. Generate rental agreements (RAs), including client, workshop, and branch RAs. Invoice clients and maintain daily movement diary. Ensure documents are signed correctly by client. Manage timely deliveries and collections. Filing of RAs once back from the client. Conduct thorough yard inspections and maintain vehicle order. Vehicles parked in the yard must be checked in the morning and afternoon / check fuel tanks for missing or damaged caps / check batteries / check spare wheel / license disc. A yard list / inspection sheet to be completed morning and afternoon. Start vehicles in the yard. Secure vehicle keys and perform daily key checks. Book vehicles for servicing and COF when required.
