Sales Manager Used Passenger Vehicles POS25199 Location: Meadowdale Salary: R20 25 000.00 benefits Role Summary: We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Used Vehicle Sales Manager to lead all aspects of pre-owned vehicle sales operations. This role is ideal for someone with deep industry knowledge, a proven track record in used car management, and the ability to lead a high-performing team to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability. Experience & Qualifications : · Minimum 35 years in a senior automotive sales role. · Prior management experience in used vehicle sales is essential. · Valid drivers license. · Automotive sales training or certification (advantageous). · Strong knowledge of used vehicle markets and valuation trends. · Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. · Proven ability to manage stock, drive sales, and maintain profitability. · High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. · Customer-focused with a professional and proactive approach. Key Responsibilities: · Oversee and manage all used vehicle sales operations. · Source, evaluate, and procure quality pre-owned vehicles for resale. · Set competitive pricing strategies aligned with market trends and stock turnover goals. · Ensure timely reconditioning of vehicles for sale readiness. · Lead, train, and motivate the used car sales team to consistently meet and exceed targets. · Monitor stock aging and rotation to maintain an optimal inventory mix. · Drive and manage digital and traditional marketing strategies for pre-owned vehicles. · Negotiate and close high-value deals with customers and trade partners. · Maintain strict compliance with all dealership policies and legal obligations. · Analyze key sales and operational metrics (GP per unit, ROI, stock days) and implement improvements where needed.
