Job Description

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to: Generate leads and establish contact with potential customers Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients Promote products and services through client visits and cold calling Conduct market research and stay up to date with industry trends Assist customers with queries related to pricing, availability, and product specs Open and maintain sustainable new accounts Achieve monthly sales and profit targets Prepare and submit accurate weekly/monthly reports and call logs Collaborate closely with internal and counter sales staff Conduct quotes, check stock, and process orders using Syspro Participate in stock takes and assist with customer account queries Requirements: 3–5 years’ experience in steel and steel-related product sales Retail environment background required Proven experience as a Sales Representative is a strong advantage Experience using Syspro is essential Target and KPI-driven with a strong focus on customer service Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment Valid driver’s license Competencies: Energetic, self-motivated, and passionate about sales Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills Willing and able to travel daily to/from Worcester if not a local resident Committed to providing excellent customer service Capable of contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
