Job Description Join Our Team as a Functional Skills Tutor at Army Foundation College, Harrogate Are you passionate about teaching and making a real difference in the lives of young individuals? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at the Army Foundation College in Harrogate! Hours: Full-time but can be flexible for part-time job seekers Key Responsibilities: As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will be responsible for teaching English, Maths and/or ICDL to 16 and 17-year-old Junior Soldiers, managing up to 8 classes, providing cover for colleagues when needed, and invigilating examinations as required. Qualifications: Essential: Qualified teacher status or a willingness to work towards it. L3 Qualification in the subject you will teach Desirable: Functional Skills Level 2 in English/Maths and/or ICT, Experience working with the Military or other uniformed services Delivering Functional Skills to soldiers, knowledge or understanding of current educational developments If you're ready to inspire and educate the next generation of soldiers, apply today and be part of our dedicated team at Army Foundation College, Harrogate!
