SEN Learning Support Assistant – Barnet Location: Barnet, North London Start Date: September 2025 Full-Time | Term-Time Only £85–£100 per day (depending on experience) Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have the patience, empathy, and dedication to make a real difference in a child’s learning journey? We’re currently recruiting for a warm and resilient SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary/secondary school in Barnet. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children 1:1 and in small groups, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally. About the Role: Supporting pupils with a range of SEN including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and speech and language needs Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies Supporting children with emotional regulation, social development, and engagement in class Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment Requirements: Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school or care background welcome) Strong communication and interpersonal skills A calm, positive, and patient attitude Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Autism Awareness) desirable but not essential We Offer: A supportive team and regular CPD training Opportunity for long-term placement and career progression A chance to make a real impact on a child’s life Whether you're an experienced LSA or looking to gain experience in a school setting, we want to hear from you!
