Class 2 Day Driver

Enterprise Driver Recruitment are looking for a Class Two driver for a permanent role with one of our clients in Stockport. You will be responsible for completing local runs delivering steel. Experience in a similar role would be ideal. Experience in securing loads to a flatbed vehicle using straps and/or chains is a must. Some handball may be required at certain drops for smaller deliveries. The hours will generally be between 08:00-16:30 Monday to Friday, no weekend or bank holiday work required. PAYE Pay Rate Class Two Monday to Friday - £13.78 when going full time based on a 40 hour week. Hours over this will be paid at time and a half. A pay review is currently taking place with a pay rise expected imminently. To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following: Valid Class Two (Category C) entitlement Valid Driver Qualification Card Valid Driver Card (Digital Tachograph) Be competent at securing of loads (steel) Be flexible in your approach to work To apply for the role, please submit your CV below.
