Job Title: Senior Software Tester Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Tester who specializes in software quality assurance and manual testing. The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies and supporting software testing for advanced inspection tools within the aerospace industry. Responsibilities Conduct manual testing and HIL testing to ensure the quality and functionality of software. Utilize Python and PowerShell scripts to validate hardware and configure software. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Blade Inspection Tool (BIT) version 2.4, both hardware and software, to support testing and validation efforts. Maintain and support existing QA scripts, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective. Provide hyper care support for field issues post-release and assist in the production of setting up new kits and upgrading existing customer kits. Support existing fielded kits with legacy software and assist in the production process for new kits. Standardize and document all existing QA processes to ensure consistency and clarity. Essential Skills Proficiency in manual testing and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing. Experience with Python and PowerShell scripting. Comfortable with testing hardware, particularly in an end-to-end testing environment. Knowledge of software quality assurance processes and documentation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with microservices architecture and AI analytics processes is beneficial. Familiarity with AWS cloud services and data management.
