New Product Development Manager

Part-Time NPD Manager – Chilled Food | Kent We’re working with a well-established food manufacturer based in Kent, who are looking to bring on a part-time NPD Manager to support their chilled product development. This is a permanent role, ideally suited to someone confident working independently in a hands-on, factory-based environment. The Role: You’ll report to the Head of New Business Development and take ownership of projects from brief to launch. This includes developing recipes, preparing samples, managing trials, and working closely with production and technical teams. Key responsibilities: Recipe development and sample prep Running and supporting factory trials Managing specifications, costings, and documentation Liaising with sales, technical, and production Supporting product improvement projects Customer presentations when required What they’re looking for: Previous NPD experience in chilled food or similar Strong understanding of factory processes Confident working in a standalone role HACCP Level 3 or equivalent Comfortable managing multiple projects Details: Based in Kent Part-time, permanent Start date: ASAP Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
