Paramedic Prescriber GP Surgery - Leicester Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 Full-Time or Part-Time Considered Location: Leicester Healthii People are delighted to be working with a progressive, patient-focused GP practice in Leicester to recruit a qualified and experienced Paramedic Prescriber to join their growing clinical team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive primary care setting where your autonomous clinical skills and prescribing qualification will be highly valued and fully utilised. Role Overview: As a Paramedic Prescriber, you’ll be responsible for managing a range of minor illness and acute presentations, working both independently and alongside the wider multidisciplinary team. Key Requirements: HCPC registered Paramedic Independent Prescribing qualification Experience working in primary care, urgent care or a similar setting Confident in assessing, diagnosing, and treating minor illnesses and acute conditions Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills What You’ll Be Doing: Conduct face-to-face and telephone triage consultations Assess, diagnose, treat, and prescribe for a range of minor illnesses Support the practice with same-day demand and home visits (where needed) Collaborate with GPs, nurses, and the wider clinical team to deliver safe and effective care What’s on Offer: Competitive salary (dependent on experience and hours) Full-time preferred, but part-time applications are welcomed Supportive and forward-thinking GP surgery Opportunities for professional development and clinical progression Friendly and collaborative team environment If you're an experienced Paramedic Prescriber looking to make a real impact in a welcoming and well-run practice, we’d love to hear from you.
