The Role: We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator with a background in architectural steelwork to join our dynamic team. This is a key position responsible for pricing tenders, analysing drawings and specifications, and preparing detailed cost estimates for bespoke architectural steelwork projects. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for architectural steelwork projects. Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications. Liaise with architects, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements. Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors. Monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure profitability. Assist in bid submissions and contract negotiations. Work closely with the design, contracts, and production teams. Requirements: Proven experience as an Estimator in architectural or structural steelwork. Strong understanding of steel fabrication and erection processes. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications with precision. Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Relevant qualification in engineering, construction, or a related field is advantageous.
