Housing Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is working alongside a forward-thinking local authority, based in Somerset , which is seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join their team. In this role you will be providing expert legal advice and support to clients in a wide range of complex litigation matters. Role: Litigation Solicitor Location: Somerset – hybrid Contract: 3 months ongoing, 25 hours per week Key responsibilities of the Litigation Solicitor role: Handle a mixed caseload of litigation legal matters from start to completion. The caseload will include but is not limited to homelessness, housing disrepair, Debt recovery, possession proceedings, anti-social behaviour, Traveller encampments, regulatory prosecutions and some SEN. Support junior colleagues and legal assistants within the department. Benefits included with the Litigation Solicitor position: Weekly pay – the rate offered will depend upon experience, interview performance and competency. Hybrid working. Flexible hours. We also welcome referrals for this position, where a successful recommendation would be worth £250.
