Located in NG5, we pride ourselves on building strong links with families and professionals across Nottingham. The Role You're a dynamic, reflective Maths leader passionate about SEN education. You'll be: Designing a stimulating, accessible Maths curriculum for pupils aged 719 with diverse needs Leading a team of Maths teachers and TAs, building skills, confidence, and resources Monitoring progress and performance, using assessment data to raise attainment Modelling excellent classroom practice and coaching others Collaborating with SLT, SENDCo, and external agencies to ensure appropriate provision Supporting pupil wellbeing, fostering independence and resilience What Were Looking For Qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in SEN settings Strong background teaching Maths across KS2KS5 (or ability to adapt teaching to those phases) Leadership experience (e.g. as Subject Lead, Coordinator, Maths or Curriculum Lead) Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, with empathy and patience Ability to innovatemaking Maths engaging, practical, and multisensory Strong understanding of SEND processes: EHCPs, differentiation, behaviour for learning What We Offer Opportunities for professional development in SEN and leadership A committed, supportive team prioritising staff wellbeing Access to specialist resources, educational psychologists, speech therapists, etc. A collaborative, growth-focused environment where fresh ideas thrive Convenient location in NG5 with excellent transport links and on-site parking SAAF Education is committed to safeguarding children and young people.
