Job Title: Enrolled Nurse Paediatric ICU & High Care Location: Cape Town, South Africa (Private Hospital Setting) Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Introduction: A leading private hospital in Cape Town is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join their Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Paediatric High Care Unit . This role is ideal for a nurse with a passion for paediatrics, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver safe, patient-centred nursing care to critically ill infants and children in the PICU and High Care units. Monitor vital signs, administer prescribed medications, and provide emotional support to patients and their families. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and nursing records. Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity and quality of care. Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control procedures. Requirements: Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Enrolled Nurse (EN) . Minimum of 12 years experience in a paediatric environment, preferably within ICU or High Care. Experience working in a private hospital environment will be an advantage. Basic knowledge of paediatric clinical procedures and emergency protocols. Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
