Job Title: Professional Nurse Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Location: Cape Town, Northern Suburbs (Private Hospital Setting) Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Introduction: A leading private hospital in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Professional Nurse to join its Intensive Care Unit (ICU) . The ideal candidate will have solid ICU experience, demonstrate clinical excellence, and deliver safe, evidence-based patient care in a high-acuity setting. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU. Monitor, evaluate, and respond to patients vital signs and conditions. Administer medications, manage ventilators, and assist with invasive procedures. Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team. Ensure adherence to infection control, health, and safety protocols. Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families. Minimum Requirements: Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse . Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience in a private or public hospital setting. Sound clinical judgment and the ability to work independently under pressure. Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
