DENTAL THERAPIST | PIETERMARITZBURG, KZN

A Dental Practice in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a skilled, HPCSA-Registered Dental Therapist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about preventative care, restorative treatment, and promoting good oral hygiene within the community. Responsibilities: Provide preventive and restorative dental care, including fillings and simple extractions Identify and treat common dental conditions such as dental caries and periodontal disease Perform dental cleanings, fluoride treatments, and fissure sealants Educate patients on oral hygiene routines, dietary advice, and follow-up care Assist with school or community-based oral health programs when needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Work collaboratively with Dentists and other dental professionals in the practice Ensure excellent patient care and satisfaction through friendly, professional service Requirements: Bachelor of Oral Health (BOH) or equivalent qualification Current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Dental Therapist Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Attention to detail with a patient-focused approach Ability to work well in a collaborative and team-oriented environment Organised, self-motivated, and committed to high-quality care Remuneration: Starting at R15 000 , going up to R40 000 , depending on experience If you meet these requirements and are passionate about improving oral health in the community, please apply online with your updated CV.
