Project Engineer

Minimum Requirements: Qualifications: BEng / BSc / BTech in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 35 years experience in a mechanical design or project engineering role within a manufacturing or fabrication environment Background in pressure vessels, piping, or cryogenic/gas systems will be advantageous Experience managing technical projects, including client liaison and documentation Key Responsibilities: Oversee engineering projects from design to completion, ensuring alignment with client specifications and industry standards Coordinate internal teams, including design, fabrication, and QA/QC Ensure that project milestones, budgets, and delivery timelines are met Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, data packs, and reports Liaise directly with clients, suppliers, and contractors Participate in inspections, testing, and commissioning when required Technical Skills: Proficient in mechanical design software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar) Familiar with ASME and/or PED standards Understanding of fabrication processes and pressure vessel codes Strong project planning and reporting skills Soft Skills & Attributes: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Detail-oriented and deadline-driven Able to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team Strong problem-solving ability and hands-on engineering mindset
