The Role: Events Coordinator As Events Coordinator, you will be at the heart of planning and executing memorable events, ranging from weddings to corporate functions. This client-facing role involves guiding guests through every step of the planning process while ensuring operational teams are set up to deliver flawless execution. Based at a luxury retreat in Knysna, you will combine creativity, precision, and service excellence. Key Responsibilities Work closely with clients to understand their event goals and preferences Plan and coordinate event logistics in collaboration with internal departments Assist in achieving event-related sales targets Support guest accommodation, dining, and custom requirements for events Oversee event execution and ensure all standards are met Maintain accurate records of client communication, budgets, and bookings Provide on-the-day event support to ensure a seamless experience About You 3 - 5 years of experience in hospitality or events coordination Excellent client service and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Fluent in English (verbal and written) A diploma or degree in Hospitality or Event Management is advantageous Highly organised, creative, and calm under pressure Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
