Snr Machine operator -Eccentric Press / Guillotine / Bending Brake

Minimum Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent. 4 years experience operating either eccentric press, guillotine, or press brake machines (or all three). Ability to read and interpret mechanical/technical drawings . Knowledge of metal types, gauges, tolerances, and finishes . Familiarity with basic hand tools, measuring instruments , and safety protocols Physical stamina and strength Teamwork and communication skills Attention to detail Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and maintain eccentric press , guillotine , and press brake machines to start a production cycle. Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and job cards. Load and unload sheet metal materials safely and accurately. Perform bending, punching, stamping, and cutting operations to exact specifications. Adjust machine settings to control speed, pressure, and dimensions. Conduct routine machine maintenance and safety checks . Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, gauges). Record production data and report any non-conformances or defects. Follow health, safety, and environmental standards at all times Control and adjust machine settings accordingly. Feed raw material to machines. Inspect products with precision and measuring tools Test the operation of machines periodically Fix issues that might occur during the shift Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws Keep records of approved and defective units or final products Maintain activity logs How to apply:
